The .NET Compiler Platform (a.k.a Roslyn) is making its release, and a lot of amazing things come with it. One of the coming features is it's scripting API, introducing long wanted functionality to C#. Even though scripting was possible already, it never was a first class citizen. Let us go through what we have now, what new Roslyn will bring to the table and what can we expect in the nearest future.
